25years-SignLASEROPTIK started an "open door" day on September 3.,2009. A lot of visitors came in to congratulate, celebrate and inform themselves about the capabilities of our production. A photo gallery of LO OPEN can be seen here or at menu item "About us > 25th anniversary".
A short article (in german) describes the day and the celebrations at the "Laserhof" in Garbsen.

Refractive indeces

LASEROPTIK is able to quote custom optics with these materials according your individual wishes.

A brief characterization of the substrate materials and the refractive indices at the laserlines are given with the transmission diagrammes.

Please consider that the curves show external transmission and include the fresnel reflection losses of the polished surfaces, as we measure it in our spectro-photometers. With high quality antireflection coatings these losses can be eliminated in limited wavelength ranges.

Samples of nearly all substrate materials, usable for laser coatings, is depicted on a transmission overview
