This article (in german) by Dr. Wolfgang Ebert and Tobias Groß (published in "Laser+Photonik", Iss. 1, March 2010, p. 30-34) discusses and compares the different coating methods found at LASEROPTIK with focus on IBS process and its special possibilities.

LASEROPTIK started an "open door" day on September 3.,2009. A lot of visitors came in to congratulate, celebrate and inform themselves about the capabilities of our production. Coatings described on these pages were produced for highest power densities. They are suitable for internal use in resonators by the means of high power materials, additional barrier layers and of overcoatings. Damage thresholds are measured by LASERLABOR GÖTTINGEN and by LASERZENTRUM HANNOVER.
All curves are shown for standard combinations of coatings and substrates, called "Standard Components". Standard values of partial reflectors (output couplers, beam splitters and beam samplers) are described and listed as "Partial Reflectors".
In combination with substrate prices, higher quantities can be calculated. Please mail, call or fax LASEROPTIK for price information on special designs, other substrate sizes, customer supplied substrates.
